2000 Alfa Romeo 146 1.8 TS review from UK and Ireland
"Great car. It's an Alfa!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Absolutely nothing... other than:
Drivers window a little sticky when going back up.
General comments?
Superb car. Very fast for a 1.8 of this size too! Handles well and can easily do 140 mph if you've got the road. Cabin is slightly boring and mundane, but oh that engine makes up for it. I am very very happy with my buy. 2000 V reg. Got it for 3400 pounds. Bargain. And it has a full Alfa SH. They looked better after T reg with the new colour coded panels and not the old plastic black bumpers.
Leaves most things for dust at traffic lights. Very smooth and easy to drive long distances and isn't a chore like it can be in other cars. Quite relaxing and its ready to liven up should you want it. Better than any ford or vauxhall. I have driven many cars including BMW's and Mercedes and this is up there with them without a shadow of a doubt. I love it.
