2000 Kia Optima LX review from North America
"Handles like the Accord, but less money spent"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
There was no major problem with the car.
There was a minor problem with the brakes that squeaked. The dealer replaced them and said it was a defect. The warranty covered it. This was at 16,000 miles.
General comments?
The KIA brand has come along way, it has taken different concepts of different counterparts and has added it all into it Optima series. The only thing I regret was not getting the V6 model. The V4 is still good. Its handling is like the Accord and the acceleration is fast, and is gets around very well. It is very un-expensive - it's worth the money and costs less than the Accords.
