1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 review from North America
"I love my Jeep.."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Water pump seal leak at 24000 miles (replaced under warranty).
General comments?
I live in Englewood, Colorado and am an avid outdoorsman (hiking, fishing, snow sports, etc…) and am absolutely thrilled with my Jeep! I use my vehicle….
Aside from it’s splendid looks it has never let me down (including deep mud, snow and extremely cold temperatures. I’ve had my Jeep in –10 deg temperature at ~13000 feet and it didn’t miss a beat.
If I had to suggest am improvement I would suggest ~ 2-3” of rear seating clearance, better hydraulic supports (engine compartment, colder weather causes them to sometimes fade), better quality carpet, and perhaps an additional storage compartment in the rear (mine has a CD changer in it…).
I have the complete service records for my Jeep and the ONLY thing to fail was a leaky water pump gasket (replaced under warranty).
My vehicle has Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 has a 4.7 V8 and the Quadra-Trac system.
