1994 Ford Taurus GL review from North America
"Good everyday joe transportation"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Had a faulty air compressor unit upon purchase, replaced free of charge. Been fine ever since.
Experienced strange stalling problem for a period of about a week. Car stalled at all speeds randomly, and also randomly made a buzzing sound under hood at attempted restart. Problem has disappeared since.
General comments?
This car has had the throttle body cleaned once (24$) and nothing else. Runs quite reliably considering amount of maintenance (or neglect) I give.
All interior parts are durable and functional.
Acceleration is poor to fair, and the transmission is very slow, but chances are if youre looking at a taurus, youre not a racecar driver.
