1997 Peugeot 106 XN review from UK and Ireland
"A grippy, clean, confident, nippy, peppy, feisty car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
She gets choked up after a long run which leads me to believe she has stuff stuck in her fuel injector.
She makes funny noises, such as squeaking and tapping sometimes.
Interior and exterior a1 except for a small amount of rust under the bonnet.
She has been very well looked after though.
General comments?
The best car I've ever driven over Astras, Orions, Micras, Granada, Ax, Bx etc.
Very slick positive gear changes and a great keenness for forward movement.
Overall for this particular class of car she is very economical, cheap and reliable, bags of fun to drive, and excellent road handling.
Can beat any car off the mark (including a golf gti and a bmw)
