2000 Citroen Saxo VTR review from UK and Ireland

Since I have had my Saxo I have had no end of problems. They have replaced various parts including the rear taillight due to seeping water.

Changed the thermostat for the engine.

Had a new door panel because of flaking paint.

Replaced the jack because the car came with the wrong one for the model.

My last problem is ongoing and I seem to have hit a brick wall. I have great difficulty in keeping the car straight on the road; it sways across the road even though I hold the wheel straight and when braking the car moves erratically making it quite dangerous stopping from high speeds.

It has been back to the main dealer four times about this problem. They have done a geometry test on the car along with a check for wheel balancing and tracking. They seemed to miss from the service that there was hardly any PAS fluid left.

They sent me away saying they had checked it thoroughly. I know it's not right, but they are adamant there is nothing wrong.

Does anybody know why this may be happening, it's so dangerous and my partner will not drive it anymore.

A very quick car which handles very well.

However I don't like the way the steering wheel is slightly off centre from the driving position.
