1989 Volvo 760 Turbo Intercooler review from UK and Ireland
"Big, fast, comfortable, looks great!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The air-conditioning system has a leak, but we haven't yet bothered to fix, other than that no problems!
General comments?
A fantastic car to drive with excellent acceleration.
Great for motorway driving, but also around town, you couldn't feel safer once you're inside and behind the wheel.
Smart enough to take anywhere, but still good for shopping trips.
Enough room to fit a washing machine and a cooker and more in the back!
Our 740 was good, but the 760 is even better. Only downside is the fuel consumption as it needs/likes Super (high octane) which is getting more expensive by the day. If I had to drive a long commute to work I might have to consider another car for the fuel economy, but we won't part with the 760.
