1999 Land Rover Discovery S review from Australia and New Zealand
"A comfortable bus that can tow a tank"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
In 5 months of ownership and a second hand car - nothing.
General comments?
Having the car for only 5 months, touch wood, the car has been very reliable. We find it comfortable, good brakes, enough power. Certainly when it comes to 4x4 traveling it has proven itself to out perform many of the expensive Cruisers. It hasn't the performance of many of the rest, but it is adequate enough for my family.
The little gripes I have are simple, such as the position of the interior door handles (behind your knees) and the switches are all obscured by the steering wheel.
