1999 Opel Astra 3doors Comfort review from Belgium
"Comfortable car, tunable to a sporty car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing really bad yet!
The only thing that minor problem
that I have encountered is that the
engine has the tendency to stall
when maneuvering. especially when the
lights are on.
This seams to be fixed now that the
dealer changed the rpm.
General comments?
The comfort of this car is very good,
using the stock 15" rims with 195/60
tires.
When using 17" rims with 215/40 tires
you do decrease the comfort a bit, but
gain a lot more handling thanks to the
lotus tuned suspension.
The engine is a good performer,
certainly if you consider the fuel
consumption.
The seats are very comfortable and
easy to slide forward, letting
the passengers in the back out.
Very well thought off.
The stereo system is relatively
powerful and sounds very good.
