2000 Kia Sephia review from North America
"Most reliable on a flatbed on it's way to the crusher"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The brakes were bad as I left the dealership.
Dealership went out of business, no forwarding dealership.
Two transmissions in 1000 miles.
Each time having the car for 5-7 days.. Dealer said" Very uncommon." Ya right!
Brake pads, rotors repaired. Still not working fully.
Shifter sticking. Would not release into reverse, or drive. Dealer blamed miss use of shifter.
The check engine light, and the over drive off light likes to come on.
The car hesitates when your trying to start off.
The car has horrible acceleration.
I currently am getting approximately 20 miles per gallon on the freeway, with the winds help.
Exhaust pipe rusted off at 12000 miles. very loud car. New exhaust system, at 34000 miles.
The dealership is not very willing to accept responsibility. This is very uncommon, Kia's are very reliable cars and we do not see many repairs with them. So the dealership says...
General comments?
I will never purchase another Kia, nor will I recommend this vehicle to my worst enemy.. I am very dissatisfied with the car in the entirety.
