1981 Datsun 280ZX 280 ZXT Turbo review from North America
"A golden Old Fair-lady - Get out of my way!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
In the 22 Years I've own this automobile I've put two turbo's in it and it's time for the third.
Paint was a problem - it faded in the first 5 years. Other standard items replaced as needed.
The interior is very comfortable, and with Sheep Skins continues today.
The car is driven with both feet. It still can go 120 MPH on Clear freeways as the Los Angeles 210.
General comments?
Today the paint is similar to Primer, rust has popped near front wind screen. Here in So Cal the rust is at a minimum.
I have driven the car to the Motor Sport of Orange and pictures are posted of 2001. Look for a Silver Z with a Japanese Flag on the front licence. The web site is www.zdriver.com
I am contemplating purchase of a new Nissan 350Z.
Touring model in Siver Stone $35000 U.S.D. from my inheritance.
Cheers.
