1981 Nissan Bluebird GL review from Australia and New Zealand
"Very reliable, fuel-efficient car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well, as could be predicted from the same numbers above in the Odometer section, the Odometer stopped working at 124895 kilometers.
Nothing has gone wrong since I bought it, but the timing chain is a bit out of sync. Makes fairly loud ticking noise constantly.
General comments?
Pretty good on fuel. Does have to run on Lead Replacement Petrol though, which costs a bit more.
I have slightly bigger wheels on it, and the front wheels sometimes scrape on the wheel arches, very unpleasant sound.
There is a ticking sound in the stereo system that increases in tempo when the engine revs higher. Haven't managed to get rid of it yet.
