1981 Pontiac Bonneville review from North America
"A piece of American history"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I just had to replace the ignition moduale.
Carburetor rebuild last year.
Transmission rebuild last year.
Normal maintenence items.
General comments?
It is very comfortable on long trips and gets respectable gas mileage on trips. Can still trust it to go anywhere.
Town mileage however can be poor.
I will never get rid of it. They do not make them like this anymore.
