Suspension bush replaced at 102000 miles

Clutch plate spring failed at 108000 miles - replaced clutch.

A few rust spots starting to show.

Seems to go through 2 or 3 headlamp bulbs per year.

I bought this car with little hesitation after experiencing pure fun above 5000 rpm on the test drive. The noise and power are awesome. Even biker friends love it.

Handling is great and can be pushed very far. Very composed and predictable with no nasty surprises at all, but you get thrown around because the seats are not a good shape.

Road and engine noise are a little tiresome, and the ride is hard. Doesn't bother me, but passengers complain on bumpy roads.

The initial cost seemed high, but was well worth it. Cost of motoring has been exceptionally low over the 5 or so years. I kept a full service history to about 60000 miles, but have done little more than oil changes since then. Have only suffered one breakdown due to the clutch failure, so am extremely pleased at reliability.

It's been driven extremely hard to the rev limited almost every day for the last 6 years and is still running sweetly. However, at nearly 10 years old it is starting to show it's age and poor treatment. A couple of rust spots here and there, plus an occasional crunch going into gear.

I would definitely buy Honda again, although the Type-R would probably kill me!
