2002 Hyundai Accent review from North America
"NOT a good maker of the automatic transmission!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The transmission has been jerky from the start. We thought it would even out because it is a self tuning engine, but it hasn't. I will be driving under 15 mph and all of a sudden it will feel like I got rear ended, because the car gives a violent jerk, and I almost get whiplash.
The transmission takes a long time to shift sometimes, and I just brought the car in last week and will get it back tomorrow.
The only thing I like about it is that the heater works really well, and heats up fast. But I will never ever get another Hyundai...
General comments?
Faulty transmission: car jerks unexpectedly under 20 mph.
