2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser GT review from North America
"Speed, Utility at an affordable price"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing.
General comments?
Looks good inside and out. Interior is much more solid than my last car.
View is great. Fun to drive. Lots of space inside yet the car length is short, enabling parking in small spots.
Handling and acceleration are great, especially compared to CRV, RAV-4 and Ford Escape.
ABS braking, traction control and 17 inch tires provide excellent traction and braking.
Truly a hybrid, combining the utility of a mini-SUV with the driveability of a sport sedan (more body lean though.)
Heated leather seats are comfy. The only complaint I have about this car so far is the bolster is not high enough for a car this fast - I often slip from side to side when cornering at high speeds.
Lots of legroom, my three year old can no longer kick me in the back from her carseat.
Getting in and out is easy.
"Premium" sound system is good, but will not blow you away. Power moonroof/sunroof and 6-disc CD changer functionality are smooth and quiet.
May be too fast for some drivers.
