1997 Ford Fiesta Si review from UK and Ireland
"A good 1.4 16v economical performer, with guts after 3500rpm"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing, oh - heated front screen went wonky / one half defrosting? Dealer sorted at no cost to me!!!
General comments?
Excellent car, 16v really pulls for a 1.4 / 16v is key to beating Saxo VTR -VTS is different ball game. Good MPG 35+ combined, mine has all extra's so it is comfortable, although 6th Gear is needed at 112mph! handling is excellent as is braking, steering is very precise. Seats are grippy and comfy, dash is dull. White dials are let down by kak back lighting...
