1973 Cadillac DeVille Hardtop sedan review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When I bought this car, it had not been maintained very well, so lots of things needed simple replacement: radiator core, steering box, muffler, brakes. But even when those things wore out, it never left me stranded, and since those parts were replaced it has not given me any trouble for a year.
General comments?
Well, it's big, loud, and basically a monster. It's also a hideous shade of 70's yellow, which is why it's name is Old Yeller. Uses lots of (92-octane) gas, but makes up for it with acceleration that scares BMWs. It also has lots of room inside and a huge trunk. My friends call it the Pimpmobile but I like to think of it as a big, comfy muscle car.
