1997 Ford Ranger XLT Shortbed Std Cab review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Electronic fuel injection ambiant tempeture sensor.
General comments?
The short wheelbase makes impossibly tight U-turns and parking easy.
Standing start 1/4 mile: 83.7 mph in 17.9 seconds E.T. limited by wheelspin. Same as 1956 XK140MC Roadster!
Top speed electonically limited to 105 mph.
20.5 miles per gallon, limited by awful aerodynamics.
Looks teriffic, lots of complements.
This is one of the best vehicles I have ever owned.
