1996 Fiat Coupe 16v review from Australia and New Zealand
"Like an Italian model. Lovely to look at, but high maintenance"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Gearbox reconditioned.
Oil pressure gauge has its own ideas about what the pressure is.
Headlight adjustment motor seized.
Stepper motor (car keeps stalling).
Eats at least one rear light bulb per month. (I think this is a Fiat quirk, my old Uno did the same)
General comments?
When it's working I love driving this car. Comfortable, quick enough (but not so much that my licence is in serious jeopardy), and smooth.
However, it does seem to like visiting the dealer regularly (who are, I must admit, very good-but they should be, parts are expensive)
Handling nice, but nothing like my Peugeot.
