1999 Nissan Pulsar SSS review from Australia and New Zealand
"A crackerjack. Bring on a replacement now!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Airconditioning vibrates at idle, dealer has replaced it twice under warranty.
Some suspension rattles recently, yet to be rectified.
General comments?
This was the last of the N15 series and Nissan stripped it to get the price down. hence no passenger airbag, sunroof, map pockets.
What you get is the basic fairly boring looking, but roomy 5 door with larger quality alloys, velour cloth, attractive dials and performance that makes me smile very time.
Great urge, fine handling from added cross-braces and superb reliability.
The only negatives are fairly harsh ride for passengers, some intrusive road noise at cruising speed and the drab charcoal plastic interior.
