1993 Oldsmobile 88 Royale review from North America
"A Classy, but unreliable Cadillac clone"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Alt. Failed shortly after ownership.
The power antenna stopped working.
Starter failed.
Tires popped.
Electrical system is very bad.
The car very easily collects dust.
The anti-lock brake system is extremely faulty, had them disconnected.
General comments?
First I must say that the car is quite underpowered with only 170 horsepower pulling near 2 tons.
The suspension is WAY too spongy and makes it near impossible to make sharp turns.
The electrical system is general is bad.
I have put over $1200 in general work put into the car in just 1 year.
Even with 65,000 miles it still has random problems.
Paint job looks GREAT when waxed and polished.
