1996 Renault Laguna RT review from UK and Ireland
"Comfortable cruiser with a few niggles"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Usual puddle in the rear foot well.
Faulty brake light caused the dashboard lights to come on when braking and the engine to continue to run if you turned off the ignition with the brake pedal down. Only cost £1.30 to fix, though.
Clock stopped working.
Probably had an earthing fault somewhere.
General comments?
Really enjoyed the car.
1.8 went pretty well, much quicker than my 1.8 Mondeo.
Electrical niggles.
Comfortable drive and you can keep a goldfish in the back.
Changed it for a Laguna 2.0 RT auto - not as quick off the mark, but tighter suspension. Are there any cheap ways of getting the serv light to go out?
