1984 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 review from North America
"Affordable first sports car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The 700r4 transmission locked up in 1 gear.
The gas struts for the hood and hatch had to be replaced.
The seats had to be replaced due too many tears and burn holes. (replaced with 97 super sport seats)
The stock radio died about 3 months after I bought it.
General comments?
This car is in top shape. It will smoke the tires for 40ft. It hugs the road in turns and the flowmaster muffler I had installed rumbles in the strongest of jap-crap racers hearts. I've taken new mustang gt's, imports and even the occasional high school kid in his moms four door.
