2001 Ford Fiesta zetec s review from UK and Ireland
"Excellent handling warm hatch rattle box"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Steering wheel replaced trim coming off.
Knocking noise from both doors.
Too many rattles to fit in this box.
General comments?
We bought this car in December 2002 mainly because it looked good and handled superb. But after one month things started to go wrong and after the steering wheel replacement (trim coming off) I was left with basically a car that rattled like no other, so much in fact it was almost musical in a drum solo kind of way.
The seats were also small and uncomfortable leading to an inability to walk after a long trip and even though the driver seat is adjustable I still got back pain whenever I drove it for more than 30 minutes.
I have now managed to get a full refund so I can choose another car from the dealership after them having the car for one week and being unable to stop rattling from the passenger dash whenever you turn left.
