1999 Proton Satria GTi review from Malaysia
"A good investment for a Mitsubishi powerplant conversion"
General comments?
Well, I've been working with my GTi for 2 years now and after several heavyweight mods from Malaysian's Speedworks, MOTEC and Dai Ichii bodyworks, I managed to squeeze out my Satria GTi up to 247bhp. The only thing that makes me wanted to analyze again is the composite used by Proton to build the engine because it just can't take heavier hp's. VTEC's are better. Strongest 4 cylinder engine in it's respective categories and not to mention... none turbocharged yet.
