1991 Honda Accord EX-R review from North America
"Great car, holds it's value, but 1"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Power lock on driver door doesn't lock properly. Have to manually lock it with key.
Master cylinder leaks at 170,000km.
Speed sensor went at 170,000km.
Antenna broke off during winter months as it was didn't go down and trunk was inadvertently closed on it.
Transmission shifting gears is harsh at times.
Sometimes have to turn steering wheel to turn ignition on.
Heater went at 165,000km. Needed to replace circuit board.
General comments?
The car is very reliable, sporty and still trendy looking for being a 1991 model.
The paint job I have is still original and looks great.
Gas mileage is really good on the highway, average for city traffic.
Engine still purrs like a kitten.
