2002 Mitsubishi Magna LE review from Australia and New Zealand

The Limited Edition is a great value car that comes with around $5000 of free extras such as 16in alloys, full leather trim and fog lights. This makes it a very complete package indeed.

Performance is good down low, but the fun mostly happens at the top, with quite scintillating performance past 4000rpm. It will not disappoint most buyers, including enthusiasts. The sports mode transmission works a treat on hilly country roads. A word of caution however that 316Nm of torque running through the front wheels does make for twitchy getaways, especially in the wet. Caution should be exercised, but there is much fun to

be had!

The cabin is very quiet and creates a serene environment.

Styling is always subjective, but with alloys and a spoiler, and in black pearlescent paint, I think the Magna looks a treat. Also the frameless doors are a nice touch.

Seats are very comfortable and visibility all round is good.

I bargained for an aftermarket sound system and I think that this is a must for this car.

Also consider getting the factory sports exhaust which creates a fantastic note when accelerating, but note that it can be a bit annoying at 110km/h on a freeway.
