1989 Jeep Cherokee pionieer review from North America
"A very high performance for 500.00 dollars"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When we first bought the car it had a lot of problems. Oil would spit out of the top of the engine. The seats wear messed up. the engine would back fire a lot and shack. The alternator went at 228,879 miles. the speakers where cheap.
The ignition switch would not lock. The door lock would unlock with house keys. The crank shaft sensor went out at 230,000 miles. We took it took another town and coming back the water pump went out and the car overheated and caught on fire. The heads warped, and we sold it for 100 dollars to a towing company.
General comments?
After it was fixed the car would accelerate to 60 in 3.2 seconds.
