1983 Dodge Charger review from North America
"Would make an awesome 2nd car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
It died after 4 wheeling out in the sand pits all day.
General comments?
This car surprised the heck out of my room mate and me. It was surprisingly quick and very reliable. I believe it was carburated, but never failed to start on the coldest of mornings.
We only paid $300 dollars for this car so we just beat the heck out of it for fun. Reverse to drive at full throttle would produce a dragster's smoke show from the front tires, but never damaged the drive train.
The 2.2 engine was very powerful, even keeping up with a 1990 Acura Integra in one street race.
