1987 Buick LeSabre Limited review from North America
"Great car, I'd buy another one"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Upper dash board, vent area buckling and coming unglued.
Ceiling liner sagging and coming unglued.
Catalytic converter started making noise and had to be replaced.
Heater coil leaked out all anti-freeze in passenger side floor board.
Electrical problem, involves stereo, seat belt warning lights, intermittently.
Automatic door locks don't always all lock or unlock.
General comments?
Great running with lots of pep. I can punch it and there is no hesitation; it just gets up and moves!
Gas mileage good, averages 28 mpg. Doesn't use oil and so far the transmission seems fine. Three different people drive this car. Two are lead-footed and 1 is 17 years old. It has never let anyone of us down.
The electric seat adjustments are a god send and the fact that they are constantly being changed to fit each driver tells me they are pretty tough.
