1985 Nissan 720 Pickup review from Mexico
"Very strong, unstoppable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
First of all, the paint job is simply the worst I have ever seen in my life, it is awful.
Next the alternator stopped working and while I went home to get a battery to get the car moving, somebody stole my spare tire. But that's all human mistakes.
The sound of the engine is horrible.
The driver seat is extremely uncomfortable.
The tires look awful in such a big car (my mistake, though).
The panels of the doors are rotten.
The car is slow, and I can't seem to find an appropiate looking steering wheel for it.
Very thin tires plus the car's height make it feel really unstable.
General comments?
Despite everything that I wrote under "gone wrong" the car runs pretty well.
The engine and everything is in great conditions.
Good transmission.
Economic, does not spend too much gas.
Very strong, unstoppable.
A bargain.
It is so dependable, that it used to be a team car for off road competitions, including the Baja 1000.
