2002 Audi A6 allroad review from North America
"Do not buy the allroad"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The front & rear brake rotors, disc's and pads had to be replaced at the first 10K mile service.
The front rotors, disc's and pads had to be replaced again at the second scheduled service at 20K miles.
The "specialty" tires had to be replaced at 17K miles for over $1,000.
Water pump failed during the summer at 8K miles.
The turbo surged when driving uphill.
The wheels vibrated (twin spoke rims) if any snow or debris got in them.
The CD player volume would change at random.
General comments?
The allroad is a fast, fun car to drive and it looks nice. It's too bad it has so many engineering flaws.
The car did not meet my expectations of a $49K car. I sold it.
This was my first and last Audi!
