1989 Isuzu Trooper LS review from North America
"Dependable fun at a economical price"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Rear Brakes needed renewing, calipers, disks, etc. really cheap, about 180.00 USD. Rebuilt calipers, new disks and pads. It appered to original equipment.
General comments?
The unit is rugged and fairly easy to work on. Some areas take time and patience, but well worth it. It will last forever as it is constructed. Spend a little time looking at problem items such as Power steering and air pumps. Thy have replaceable bearings tht can really!!! reduce your repair costs. The 2.6 4 cyl is perfectly matched to the truck. Be careful to use the proper lube in the trans. and Transfer case, it uses engine oil. RE.. owners manual.
