1990 Mitsubishi Pajero EXE review from Australia and New Zealand
"The side panel reads turbo wagon, it should rightly be changed to SUPER WAGON"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The car was caught in a flood during heavy rains in Feburary of 2000. The previous owner rust-proofed and made it roadworthy, leaving out creature comforts. No Air-Con, No Factory - Radio.
The Clutch simply just went. Which was believed to be a product of the flooding.
Fuel Gauge becomes biased at times, primarily when below a quarter.
General comments?
As far as reliability, comfort, performance and economy are concerned this car is an absolute stunner.
At most it costs $60 dollars for an entire tank of diesel, if driven economically half a tank will yield 370+ kms.
The rear end is leaf-sprung while the front is independant. A little different to my fathers range rover. Basically he can get to places I can't when 4WD on our hunting trips. Albiet insanely rocky terrain that any sane person wouldn't dare venture over.
