1994 Chevrolet Corsica review from North America
"Attractive, Peppy, and Reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Anti-Lock Breaks seem to lock up.
Gains speed going downhill.
General comments?
I was a bit leery when I was told that my new car was to be a Corsica. I didn't recall seeing that many on the road in Georgia where I Grew up and assumed it was do to poor performance.
After Three Days I knew that this was the perfect car for a college student.
My Corsica, while not the most comfortible of cars performs well with my only concern being the brakes, I actually Broke my toe trying to stop it from 35 mph when I car pulled out in front of me and then the brakes acted as though they'd locked. However, The ABS light did not once come on, and I know it works because it lights when I start the car.
My only other complaint is that my Corsica will gain 5 to 10 MPH while going downhill, while not really a problem I worry about my brakes every time I go downhill.
The Corsica is attractive even 9 years after it rolled off the assembly line and the trunk is spaceous compared to most cars it's size, I was suprised to discover that the Corsica was considered a "Compact Sedan"
All in all I would suggest this car for anyone looking for an affordible vehicle that looks good and performs great.
