1985 Holden Calais VK review from Australia and New Zealand
"Great as long as you appeciete it."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have replace: or has blown up>
starter moter: Ditributor:
plenty of tyres: muffler:
and the front timing gear has threaded recently and got quoted $1000 (heratige Holden) got a rebuilt moter for $2000 from higanbottems at Katara and I did not realize the performance that I had been missing out on. The car has got the punch and quickness behind it as long as you know when to back off.
The car is great for its age.
General comments?
The car is a good high performance machine as long as you keep regular maitenace.
With decent low profile tires it will do the burn out or the high speed that you want it to
As for looks make it loud and washed it's a real head turner for shore.
And a body kit added for $500+$2000 well it will just real the woman in.
As for electronic everything very costly to replace, but worth it.
