2000 Ford Festiva Trio review from Australia and New Zealand
"Low Budget comfortable runaround"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The wire from the rear de-mister broke after 6 months, but was fixed under warranty.
General comments?
Brought the car new and it's been very reliable, comfortable, cheap to run and is excellent for running around the city. Handling is very good (although it could do with power steering for slow speed driving).
If you buy a new one do not treat it with kid gloves. After the first 200km I drove the car fairly agressively. It responded by having plenty of grunt when required whereas a friend was too easy on his motor and it has no guts when he puts the foot down.
