1982 Datsun 280ZX GL Non Turbo review from North America
"A wonderful machine"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have had no problems with my Z car
except the fact that a sheet metal screw
got lodged into the #6 cylinder intake
valve. Since then though the car has ran very strong and beats cars like Honda's with performance parts on them. The Z is running its worst and can do this I could imagine what it would be capable of if it was brand new. I had a 77 280Z before and that's why I bought a 280ZX and because it was a good price 1$. More than well worth it vehicle by Datsun/Nissan.
General comments?
Given the conditions and shape that the car is in it is very young at heart, still handles very well and almost every single thing works on it. Only Datsun could come out with an old import like that. Given the time the first Z came out in late 69 Datsun/Nissan was always ahead of their time with this vehicle.
