1983 Land Rover 110 V8 CSW review from UK and Ireland
"The Best 4 x 4 x Far"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A bit of corrosion on the coil leads made it cut out.
Slight rust, but it is 20 years old.
General comments?
Its not fast, but that's not the point, although it will keep up with most.
This thing can do anything, I use it to get to work everyday, I put several mountain bikes and all our stuff in the back every weekend, and I also take it off road (greenlanes and events).
This is a very versatile 4x4.
The roar from the v8 is amazing and you get more looks down the street than you would in a sports car.
Mine is gas converted so I'm not to bothered about the vast fuel consumption.
There are loads of bits available to customize it and you get a big smile on your face every time you drive it.
If your into out door sports such as cycling, climbing etc this vehicle is the best, every thing can just be thrown in the back and when you get there you can park in the best/remote spots you can find.
Id rather push my Land Rover than drive a Toyota!!!
