1994 Nissan Micra LX review from UK and Ireland
"An unfairly slagged little wonder!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Throttle Body gave up the ghost after much kangarooing. Got replacement from scrappy!
Replaced Exhaust.
Replaced Brake cylinders.
Steering shakes a bit between 75-80mph.
Things you'd expect from a 9 year old car really!
General comments?
On my second Micra after throwing the first one accidentally in front of a Fiesta. It was so good I bought another.
It really does not need power steering as you can park it one-handed.
Will do 110mph down a hill - so I've been told!
No seriously, the Micra does not deserve its slagging. It's never let me down, it doesn't use much fuel, never drinks oil and leaves many more powerful cars behind at lights. 1.3 is a total gem and really good for overtaking.
Also, any car that has pedals so well spaced you can drive it sitting in typical bloke position, cannot be called girly!
