1991 Holden Commodore VP review from Australia and New Zealand
"An excellent second hand car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Immobilizor causing battery problems, system was replaced with new remote system.
Paint is fading after 11 years.
Tail light replaced (fading).
Cracked radiator pipes.
Indicator controls replaced. (cannot remember why)
Light and eletric windows controls replaced.
General comments?
This was my first car for $6,000 Australian.
Pretty fast off the mark, love the cruise control...
I just drove into the country 500kms both ways and it pretty much ran smoothly, at 140km/hr the steering wheel shook a bit. Also, made the trip on a full tank of petrol.. did reach empty just after I arrived.
