1993 Peugeot 605 sv review from Denmark
"Best car I have ever had"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Electronics is one of the things that is not to be relied on, not that it is a big problem it don't happen that often and when it does all you have to to is to turn off the engine and start it again. the real problem is the steering, the servo is not that good, sometimes it goes and sometimes it works (mostly it works) but it's like it has a mind of it's one. the worst thing about this car is that there exists no repairer manual for it, so if you don't want to spend money on a mecanic you have to find out your self how you fix the problems you encounter (breaks etc.).
General comments?
There is nothing more satisfying than driving 150 km/h on the freeway and the only sound is a low "bruuuum" from the engine and ofcause the wind telling you how fast you are really going.
It is a big car and you would think that it might feel slow when you acc. but realy it's fast, and it handles realy well.
The look: do I need to complement on that part, I think not. after 10 years (if it has been taken care of, just a little bit) it still look's like a 470.000 Kr. car.
