2001 Dodge Dakota SLT review from North America
"Value, performance and style"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only thing that happened was the engine light came on around 47,000 miles. I disconnected the battery for 15 minutes and reconnected then the light went off.
General comments?
The brakes and shocks were sub par so I puchased edelbrock ISA shocks and slotted rotors. The truck was awesome with the modifications.
Also highway/local mpg is around 19 with 22-24 on the highway.
Gas consumption depends on if you zoom zoom everywhere. When my son drives the truck mileage drops.
The seats are okay (cloth) but would be nice if they were more plush.
There is no other truck in the same category as the Dodge Dakota. Waiting for a hemi version to be available.
