1994 Nissan Altima GXE review from North America
"Excellent, low-maintenance, cost-efficient car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
One of the fuel injectors went. Replaced with a used one and have had no problems since then. (80,000 miles)
Power antenna tries to move antenna, but the slight bend in the antenna have caused the motor to simply continually run and make loud noises. Disconnected the motor and radio works well. (128,000 miles)
General comments?
Collectively, as a family, this is the best car for the money we have owned in 30 years of driving.
While our other cars have undergone rebuilt engines and transmissions, the Altima has had no major problems whatsoever and performs better at such a high mileage (129,000) than our domestic cars at lower mileages.
At 129,000 miles, there is no burning or loss of oil, which means that the cylinders are not wearing at all.
This is simply a phenomenal car with regards to maintenance and price.
