1995 Dodge Intrepid ES review from North America
"So far satisfied with the car's performance, but the transmission on this car is terrible"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
With about 62,000 miles, the transmission was rebuilt by a Dodge dealership repair center.
With about 88,000 miles, the engines seals had to be replace because they had hardened. This cause oil to leak out everywhere.
With 106000 miles, the transmission broke internally and burned out 3rd gear and overdrive.
General comments?
Luckily the car was under warranty when I had the transmission rebuilt the first time.
Other than these three problems, the car has been very reliable.
I have put over 600 miles a week on it for almost a year now.
