2002 Jaguar X-Type Sport review from UK and Ireland
"The most affordable Jag yet. ( Rob Abbott )"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only fault to date with the vehicle has been a sticking brake light.
This was quickly dealt with by the supplying dealership when returned.
General comments?
This is a car that truly deserves to be called a jaguar. The interior oozes quality with ample room to seat four even five adults in comfort.
The boot space as with the xj's I find to be a bit shallow.
Split folding rear seats along with electric rear windows were only available as an option.
The ride and handling are both smooth and precise. I hardly notice the difference with having the stiffer suspension and the larger 17" alloys.
Some of the comments left by the owner of the Mazda Xedos seemed a little harsh and inaccurate for the new Jag.
