1996 Toyota Tacoma LX review from North America
"I love that beast. Get the feeling"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My e-brake snapped once when I was off-roading due to metal fatigue. It seems the steel cable must flex every time you pull it, so it breaking was not too great a suprize. Everything is in great shape, even when it was driven to mid-California from Alaska.
General comments?
I love the handling, especially when the suspension is modestly upgraded to the Rancho system and slighly larger tires. The only thing about the comfort is that the stick shift and seat arrangement make it hard to get tender with your girlfriend.
