1995 Citroen Xantia dimension review from UK and Ireland
"A time bomb"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Matrix heater unit leaking replaced with new one at 51000 miles.
New cat converter fitted 3rd one! under 100,000 miles at 99000 miles.
Electric sunroof cables replaced 51000 miles.
Folding rear seat fixings broken.
Electronic ignition fault runs on 3 cylinders when raining very heavy, that's why I'm on 3rd cat converter!
General comments?
The Xantia is requires many special tools to service/repair the car leaving the owner no choice, but to pay rip-off service charges to Citroen Dealerships.
I was recently told I would have to wait 10 days to have a Steering rack gaiter fitted which of course requires a special tool as the Hydraulic Steering Ram gets in the way.
