1994 Ford Thunderbird LX review from North America
"A good car but breaks every five minutes (needs to much tender loving care)"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
OK how to start.
1. Tranny went out 2 days out of warranty had it fixed once then broke a second time had a performance tranny put in (works great)
2. Brake pads are a problem for everybody I see, my rotors are warped as well, to lazy to change.
3. Had both upper ball joints replaced and the back rear axle on differential
was loose had to replace or wheel would fall off.
General comments?
Since I got rid of Fords Tranny and put the performance one in with custom aluminum drve shaft made a big difference. Car rides smooth, quiet
and very comfortable. It is my first car and had my share of problems, which cost me so much money that I could of bought a new car, but all 37000 miles that I put on it were enjoyable and problably will keep the car forever. Jus hopefullly it lasts because I'm broke!!! Thanks Ford.
